When working with a framework theme it’s always important to know where all of the theme-specific action hooks are located. With Themer Pro you have the ability to enable the Frontend Hooks Map feature that does this in a really intuitive way. Just click the icon at the bottom-right of the frontend of your website to toggle your framework theme’s Action Hooks display. What you’ll see when toggled on is an actual named banner that is hooked into the named hook location.
So let’s say you’ve created a custom function to display a banner ad and you want to add_action that function into a specific location of your site. With the Frontend Hooks Map feature you can go to a page where the area you want to display your banner is located, and the toggle on the Hooks Map. You’ll then be able to pick out the best suited action hook based on the location of the various hooks displayed.
